MISSION STATEMENT

To advance the practice of mediation by offering the exchange of ideas among members, and inform the public about alternate dispute resolution.

The Georgia Mediators Association, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and professional association of mediators practicing in the State of Georgia. Mediators are individuals with specific training in assisting others in finding a resolution to their dispute. Our members come from a variety of disciplines and mediation specialties and have joined together in order to promote and further the process of mediation as an effective and efficient tool for the resolution of disputes. 

• To facilitate the exchange of knowledge, information and ideas between professionals engaged in the practice of mediation.


• To provide continuing education in areas of interest, expertise and ethics related to the mediation profession.


• To educate and inform the public about the mediation process and to assist them in locating mediators practicing in their cities and communities.
